Orcades Marine hosted a social networking event named ‘Oktoberfest’ for Orkney’s marine supply chain on 27th October 2023. The event was attended by members from the Orkney Harbour Authority, EMEC and other various marine organisations. Orcades Marine also took this opportunity to collect for the Orkney Blide Trust, a local charity organisation who focuses on promoting mental wellbeing through active personalised support.  A small pinball competition was held for guests to participate in and it was a success with the winner walking away with the top prize of a brand new Mullion lifejacket.

We would like to thank everyone who attended and making the Oktoberfest event a success and we hope to make this a recurring event. We would also like to thank Triscom Marine Technology for kindly sponsoring the pinball machine.
