It was a great day in Scapa Flow for the Orcades Marine team, together with the Masters and crew of the Orkney tugs “Thor of Scapa” and “Odin of Scapa” who completed the dead ship tow of the feeder container vessel “Vega Omikron” from its anchorage position in Scapa Flow to Lyness, Hoy. The Vega Omikron had been in cold lay-up for close to a year since the covid-19 pandemic began and she will be prepared for its return to service.
